FRICASSEE OF CHICKEN WITH TARRAGON
Servings: 4 servings

3 1/2 lb chicken, cut into servings
salt and pepper
3 tbl butter
1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbl tarragon
2 tbl flour
1 1/2 cup water
1 carrot rough, chopped
1/4 lb mushrooms
1 cup heavy cream

Directions: 1. sprinkle the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. heat the butter in a large, heavy skillet large enough to hold the chicken pieces in one layer. add the chicken and cook, turning occasionally, without browning, about 5 min. 2. add the onion,garlic and tarragon and stir well. sprinkle with the flour, stirring to distribute the flour evenly. add the water, carrot and mushrooms. cover and cook about 15-20 min. 3. remove the chicken pieces, carrot and mushrooms to a warmed serving dish and keep hot. 4. let the sauce cook down, stirring often, about 5 min. 5. add the cream and salt and pepper to taste. simmer about 3 min. pour a little sauce over the chicken and serve the rest separately.

Conclusion:
Analysis

a-e) See table under Observations.
g) Evidence was shown in the experiment through the colour change in the solutions. All the solutions except Solution D reacted.
h) Errors could be caused by mixing up unlabelled breakers, overfilling the wells, and otherwise contaminating the solutions so their results were not accurate.
i) It\'s possible that Solution D reacted to such a small magnitude, that it was not visible. Therefore, I cannot conclude that it did not react.
